e-Business Workshop

About

The Internet and e-commerce has dramatically changed the role of information systems in business. Transforming traditional businesses into e-business platforms has become a global trend.

A parallel trend is the development of online businesses made possible by internet based technology. These e-business technologies and applications make new business models possible, create whole new industry sectors, and are redefining relations and processes within and across organizations.

E-Business Workshops
The purpose of e-business workshops is to provide an open forum for e-business researchers, practitioners and business people to share research findings, explore novel ideas, and collectively chart future directions of e-business both across the field as a whole and in narrow areas of theory and practice. e-Business Workshop provides a platform for collating and discussing e-Business Workshop information from around the globe. From large-scale academic and industry level symposia, experimental workshops for developers, learning forums for practitioners and businesses to small specialized events at local level, we will endeavor to disseminate information and reviews, summaries and attendance details.

We are no longer planning to host our own events, moving into the role of reporting and commenting on workshops and reviewing findings and trends. This also allows us to cover a significant majority of the key topics in the field. We look forward to expanding our coverage to areas such as trends and practice in e-Business in multimedia, social networking and community, blogging, local and small business marketing, affiliate e-business and information product trends.

Contributions from e-Businesse practitioners, Internet marketers, researchers writers and educators will build into a searchable resource to track developments and trends in e-Business and e-Business workshops.

We will also provide information and guidance on preparation and managing e-Busiess Workshops, from selecting subject areas and speakers to managing panels, promoting events and targeting relevant delegates to post workshop follow up and publication.
